Positive Pathway Counseling

Explore. Grow. Thrive!

I am so glad you're here. It's no secret that life can be stressful. Many of us struggle with bouts of depression, anxiety, or chronic tension from daily obligations. You might be managing past traumas and find adjusting to life's inevitable changes difficult. I understand. Sometimes, we need a safe place to "be" or decompress without judgment or criticism. Other times, we may benefit from restructuring how we respond to situations or processing painful experiences. Whatever it is, you're taking steps toward the life you want and deserve, and that's truly a beautiful thing. So, welcome to Positive Pathway Counseling, where you're free to explore, grow, and thrive!

My Story

I am a professional counselor associate with a dynamic multicultural upbringing throughout the United States. I completed my BS in Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu and my MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. My participation in therapy has been a resource that helped me overcome personal and professional barriers that many of us face. Nowadays, I find that paying it forward and providing others with that same support, unconditional positive regard, and empathy has become a passion.

So, what does that look like in practice? For me, being a therapist, first and foremost, means providing a safe space for you. Together, we focus on your experiences and current circumstances to help you work toward a life that brings you inner balance, joy, and peace. What that looks like is up to you - you're the designer! Whether you're seeking relational counseling, struggling with depression, or on a path to self-discovery, I am versed in a dynamic range of counseling techniques grounded in empathy to assist you. Additionally, for your convenience, Positive Pathway Counseling (PPC) provides services exclusively online.

Thanks for visiting and reading my story. I look forward to hearing yours!

Therapeutic Approach

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I am experienced in and utilize approaches from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems therapy, and Psychodynamic therapy. More importantly, as we develop our therapeutic relationship, we will grow and learn about what motivates you and what methods are effective toward your desired changes.
